If you want to set the event from the blueprint actor itself for custom control, simply add a QuickVPDynamic component to the actor and set the event name from it. If the event does not have a data field, you won’t be able to change the button label in the controller—just set the name from the Event Name field.

Add a component

In order to add a component, do the following:
  1. Go to the top left part of the Blueprint Editor window and click Add Component
  2. In the Details Panel, click the Play QuickVP Event
  3. Type QuickVP, and select QuickVPDynamic
  4. Then click on button to bind the QVP event triggering for this actor
